Dinner tonight: roast leg of lamb, roast potatos and pumpkin, gravy, spinach herb bread, zucchini mini muffins and steamed veg. Dessert is apple crumble and ice cream (DHs favourite!!!)  :D

Roast Lamb here tonight as well, with roast veggies. Not sure about dessert though. I haven't got enough apples to make apple crumble but I can soon whip up something yummy :)

DH will not eat marinara sauce  :'(

the only seafood he eats is the frozen perch and  prawns, only if i peel them for him   :-))

You telling me Frank does not peel his own prawns?  Well then who does it for him? ;D ;D

I make my DH cook prawns outside on the BBQ, as I can't eat them anymore. The smell makes me sick.

But, I still buy them for him. :)

I'm like you Uni, peel every prawn or crab and just present the flesh to the family.  Too messy having everyone peeling their own at the dinner table and I quite enjoy doing it.

DG....I don't want to seem patronising, but you shouldn't thaw chicken out of the fridge...It can be dangerous.
Thaw it overnight in fridge, or use easy defrost in the microwave (not express, it will cook it).
