Tonight we had chicken risotto
http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1858.0
. I added some broccoli to it and cooked it at a lower temperature as I seem to be burning things at the moment. It was still quite nutty and could have been cooked a little longer. However, there is only a little left over for my lunch tomorrow, so it couldn't have been too bad.

Beautiful pies Hally
The pasta fagioli wasn't too bad, but I should have taken the MC off to let it thicken more. We prefer it thicker. But I was in a hurry so I forgot

It looks really nice Amy. Did you add anything over and above what the recipe says to increase the flavour because, if you didn't already know, I really hate that recipe
I know others love it but it's just me and as soon as I hear the word fagioli I can't help myself. If you wanted it thicker you could have left it in the bowl for a while or put it in the thermosaver like we do with risotto to thicken.

LOL Judy, I think I may have read somewhere on the forum that its not your favourite dish...
Thank you for your compliment anyway!
I was going to add some fresh basil, which I thought would give the dish a much needed boost, but when I checked my little herb pot, all that was left of my basil plant were some ugly, chewed looking stems. The grubbies have had a good munch on it
So we just had plain old basil-less pasta fagioli

I like pasta Fagioli, but I put salami in it.
Tonight we had Pineapple Chicken. I made it up as DH wanted 'that chicken with pineapple that you made ages ago'. He couldn't remember what was in it though.. Turned out to be quite delicious. Served with rice and peas cooked in stock in TM.
