Love tripe, liver and kidneys. In fact had kidneys on toast for breakfast.Pekin Duck is a special event in our family. Love it. Bamboo Hut in Melb. do a beautiful one with pancakes, spring onions and special plum sauce. $65 last time we were there. The Gert Duck Event last week end was spectacular . I would encourage everyone to try it. I nearly always order Duck, if it is on the Menu, when we dine out.
I once had a delicious spicy tomato dish at a friend,s house. Turns out , it was tripe.My MIL talks about the tripe shops she used to go to when she lived in the UK. Until then I didn't know that there were different types of tripe.Does anyone like lambs brains ? My mum used to fry them up with bacon, and I loved their creamy texture.
