Mince pie and salad. Pie is done, will do salad soon...think the kids will need to eat early today (ie they are starting to play up and I am keen for bedtime)

Talking about tenderloins - I bought today but where are they?  I also bought sausages from the specialty butcher, put them in my handbag and because we had visitors when I got back, promptly forgot them until I went to get my bag 7 hours later.  Said sausages now in the bin but goodness knows where the tenderloins are - they are on my bill.

We had leftovers for tea.

Oh no Judy.  Have you looked in the car?  You wouldn't want to find the chicken in there tomorrow, or the next day...

Lucky you have a freezer with leftovers and you were still able to eat tea.

Yes Katie, looked in the car.  Looked in the freezer too although I knew I only put the other 2 lots of meat in there. It's a mystery but it means I now have to go back and get some more tenderloins at least - I need them for the 24th.

Well that's a bummer JD.  I hate it when things mysteriously disappear like that.

Oh Judy, I once left a packet of bacon in my market trolley for a whole week. Eek
At least you found the sausages before they got too smelly. Could you have left the chicken at the butchers? It"s worth asking before you buy some more.
I cooked sausages on the BBQ for the family, but I'm still full form lunch, so all I've had tonight is some nice cold NZ Savvy. I might have some of Brazen's spiced nuts though as I'm a little peckish now

I bought the tenderloins at Foodland ES.  I could go back with my docket and ask if I left them there although the girl packed my bag and I don't see what she could have done with them once she scanned the packet.  Worth a try though - $9.78 worth and $8 for the sausages.  Just throwing my money away today  ;D

I've always found that Foodland are quite good and keep a book of items that have been left behind. You never know your luck :)
