What a clever Geoff. Those rocking horses are fantastic. Michele I know how you feel with photos etc. some days you can take them and others you can't.
I changed our menu for tonight and we are having potato pie and veggies. There was a fire nearby late this afternoon and we had to close up etc as it released chemical fumes. I didn't know anything about it until DDphoned and told us. Now I know why the helicopters were all flying round.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

We had a cool night for a change, so I cooked a bolognaise in the PC (using thermie to chop the onion, carrot, zucchini and celery), a cheese sauce in thermie, and turned it all into a lasanguccini. What is that? I hear you ask. Well, it's what you make when you only have 5 lasagne sheets in the box( because you have been doing the shopping challenge) and a third of a packet of fettuccini .  I did one layer of lasagne, one layer of fettuccini, and another layer of lasagne. It may have looked a little odd, but it still tasted good ;D

Cooked Jamie Olivier's 4hour slow cooked shoulder of lamb.It was delicious.Served it with roasted root veg, steamed cauliflower and broccoli. I picked up the lamb on the reduced counter of the supermarket on Monday. It's amazing what you find there ;) ;D

Judy....what stunning horses Geoff crafted!  truly gorgeous.
Hubby once tried to restore his childhood rocking horse....it was the most deformed looking thing I have ever seen! LOL. I couldn't stop laughing!
It was originally covered in fur, so in his wisdom, he tanned a cow hide and "tried" to recover with it.......I wish I had a picture of it  ;D

Dinner...friend over today with digger for the pool hole, so his family coming over later.  Though I'd make a warm artichoke dip, tandoori chicken salad, a warm pasta dish, T-bones for the boys, pizza bianca topped with semi dried toms/spinach/feta/pine nuts, and a ranch dressing coleslaw.
.........EAT CAKE!

What a pity you didn't take a photo of it maddy but I think your DH would have known why you were taking one LOL.  It's funny how different people interpret plans - a friend of ours borrowed them and his looked nothing like Geoff's (ours all looked the same).

Great meal for the workers, I would have offered to help too just to eat your food.

Tea here tonight is curried tuna.
