You gave the chicken chasseur away Hally!

We're having DD's recipe of Aunt Bea's chicken.

I've been invited to a friend's place for tea tonight so decided why not!  Just waiting for my turn at the hairdresser's before going there.

Great food ladies.
Dinner and a hairdo Judy. Fantastic, have a great night.
Calzones and beetroot salad. For dessert I licked the bowl after making Swedish icecream cheesecake ;)

Lovely meal at my friend's place - braised oyster steak and potatoes in a lovely tasting fruity oniony gravy with steamed vegies/pudding with custard.  She always says she can't cook like me but the difference between me and most of my friends is that I love to cook and they don't.  They can though and I am just an ordinary cook so there is no need to worry when I come to a meal - for some reason they do though.  I sort of know what they mean as I felt the same when I used to have my very best friend to a meal because she was the greatest cook I have ever known.
