It's so nice to know I'm not alone in this madness!!  My TMX arrives on Friday and I'm still lying in bed awake at night thinking of all the awesome things I'm going to make from scratch.  My DH thinks I'm truly mad, but that's fine, he'll reap the rewards later and will thank me for it!

Judy I was thrilled to receive all the 'bits' with  my bowl too. I couldn't believe how shiny the new one was, now it looks just like the old one.

Welcome you will love this forum, there's so many wonderful recipes and Thermomix experts here. I seriously don't think I would have got the value out of mine had I not found this forum. Everyone is so helpful and they have so much knowledge. So did it arrive today then ? When I ordered mine it was due to arrive around the time we were going away to my parents for a few days (an hour away) and I was so disappointed that it didn't arrive before we left. My neighbour kept a look out for me though and rang me when it did arrive. I seriously wanted to drive home pick it up and drive back to mum's ........ they all thought I was nuts ! I had to wait till we got home but it nearly killed me knowing it was at home.

I hope it arrived for you today ! Have fun (both you and your DH, mine loves making his own rock cakes but that's about it for now)!

its still not here! i rang cosultant today and she assures me it will be here tomorrow. was probably a good thing as had to work last 3 days and also dealing with a sick child so not much time so far this week anyway! am already tired and reading this forum is not doing me any favours on that front, as i cant get off it as i feel there is so much to know and learn! ok, am going now... to bed! x

just realised I didn't do a good job introducing myself.  I live near Brisbane in Australia.  I have a husband who is completely uninterested in food and cooking but fortunately I have two teenagers who make up for it and 4 step children! 
I have been "eyeing" the Thermo for about 2 years since my friend got one and finally decided to put it on my bucket list.  I am beside myself  with excitement waiting.

its here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
arrived 9a.m, lucky it came in 2 big boxes, big enough for the kids to have 1 each & play in and keep amused while i unpacked tmx!
made blueberry sorbet, slightly icy, think i may not have processed long enough, otherwise quite edible. kids loved it.
dinner was apricot chicken from everyday cookbook. great success.
think i may try a cake or something tomorrow.... mmm descisions descisions!

Glad you are enjoying it.  I've still only had mine 10 days and I think I've used it everyday since I got it.  I got an extra jug with my order so sometimes I'm literally just swapping jugs!

Also got the Indian cookbook - highly recommend it, tonight's dish is butter chicken (goodness only knows what its going to do to my arteries ....  )

how good is the thermoserver!!!!!!!!!! i made the salami & tomato fettucine tonight and had to take some over to my friend and her girls  as she is sick and when i got back to eat mine it was still piping hot! and everyone loved it! so tasty.
have to ask, the seal on the lid smells from last nights dinner, does anyone know how to get rid of the smell, worried it will taint things like cream etc. i took itcompletely apart and washed it in soapy water.

Hi I am from Broome WA and my TM and I have a very healthy relationship!!

I felt the same way. I have had a TM for 2 weeks and haven't stopped using it, talking about to everyone and thinking what to make next. Absolutely love it!!!
