How lucky were you to live in Chookie's area pandateddy - we're all envious of those who were there that day.  Where are you in the photo?

I am on the left in the photo (my name is Lee) and next to me is my sister Nicole. I haven't put a photo with my posts because I don't know how to.  I will have to ask my sister who is more technologically advanced than I am. Its lucky that the thermomix is easy to operate because if it was anything like a computer I would have no success with it at all. I'd still be learning how to turn it on. I live abot 10 mins from chookie, but my sister came from Ballarat and said she was glad she made the trip.

pandateddy,  glad to see you back on the Forum.  When I started I didn't even know how to introduce myself. :o :o :o Judy said that they had been watching me lurking.  She held my hand and talked me through it.  When i wanted to post pictures,  Judy and Thermomixer had a pretty rough time getting me through that.  Now O4aTimTam  has kindly fixed up my disorganized presentation of the KFC recipe and has made it more user friendly.  She has tried to explain how,  at my request, to replace my recipe with her more user friendly presentation.  I'm not quite up to that yet.

So Lee ,  what I am saying, is ask for help as it is all here on the Forum.

Chookie, well done!!! What a great effort!!

I know in the past consultants (including myself) started looking at running smaller classes but under a certain banner I was advised that the insurance didn't cover us for these more specific classes. Only the HO organised ones. Which is such a pity.

Cocktails in Wangaratta???? But you'd need bring your sleeping bags and mozzie repellant!!!!  :D :D

How wonderful Chookie.  I'm sure your students will be very inspired with their breadmaking.  Next time you are over in Tassie you are very welcome to come and do a lesson at my house. ;) ;D

Hi Chelsea,
I'll be over your way next week for work  ;)

That is a great idea focussing on one special food like that for a 'power' session, like a masterclass! I wouldn't mind going to one of those for cocktails :)

Chelsea,  would love to catch up.  YOU could teach me a thing or two about soaked grain bread.  We are coming to Tassie again to watch the finish of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race,  but will be at the other end of your beautiful Island.

i wouldn't mind hosting an 'impromptu gathering of friends' here in Perth at my house as long as it was a Saturday in January/February...hands up who wants to come and suggestions for our 'discussion'.

footnote: forgot we speak on a World Wide Web forum, and may have to limit the numbers if there is an overwhelming response. Oh yes, and axe murderers are not welcome!

That's me with my hand up CP63!

I'd love to come and will bring Herman as well. We can all bring various parts of the dishes we decide to make.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

CP63,  sounds like a good idea.  Wish I didn't live on the other side of the continent. ;D

Count me in CP63. I'll ponder the topic for discussion. (I'm sure it will come to me after a few wines/champagnes  ;))
