and can i ask you if you have a recipes that i could use in a cookie press + any tips you on using them 

Sure.  I'll just have to convert it to grams as it is an old recipe with US cup measurements.

Thanks girls, it is great fun but time consuming as you all know.  Nothing customised Uni, they are all the same. Thanks CC, your comment about Pastilla made me realise I had typed fig instead of prune so have changed that.  Saw the original idea here on the forum but the In the Mix version is easier to follow.
Andie, how lovely is the idea of sending goodie boxes over to the boys - I'm sure any help you can give is appreciated by all.

Please may I have a copy of the robust cookies... And can I second Fundj's request for advice on a cookie press- I've got one and would love to play with it productively !! As opposed to messily and unsuccessfully!

I rarely make cookie press cookies even though I have several presses, hand operated, wired and cordless.  
I have so many other great recipes for "freestyle" cookies that the press cookies seem sort of mundane.

The only one I've made in recent years is this recipe for chocolate spritz I made when requested by a friend who doesn't bake.

I'll post an old very easy favorite in the NON-TMX recipe topic.   Cream cheese Spritz cookies.
