I agree with everything everyone selse has said, and I think you will never doubt the purchase after you get it.  However, I always say to anyone who is nervous about getting one, if you don't like it, or don't use it, you can re-sell on Ebay for nearly as much as you bought it for.  It really is a no risk buy.

That said, I would never part with mine!

I am taken aback with the generosity of time you've all taken to reply to me.  :) The heat in the kitchen (pardon the pun) is something I would love to get out of up here. I hadn't even thought of it related to the TM! It will make a huge difference! The last reserve I had was if I no longer wanted it what to do.... of course ebay! Thank you! I think I'm sold! I hope my family will be too on Friday! Oh and to Quirky cooking... I'm in the sunny Tablelands too! I'll probably meet you at the cooking classes I'll be going to, to learn how to use my TM   ;D  see you then!

Merlin that is such a good point about not having the oven heating up the house on a hot day. I have been really trying to use the aircon sparingly or not at all so the oven is a no no. That and tonight my fridge is full of red chicken curry, pumpkin soup and fresh mango icecream all done in a jiffy today.
Gosh I love my thermie!

I have to admit I feel so selfish talking about a hot kitchen during summer when the northern hemisphere is shivering through a cold snap. Apologies tp all of our northern colleagues!!

So you should!  ;)  Its darn freezing here and we're on the South Coast of the UK! ;)  On the plus side for those of us in the UK on relatively modest means, the houses are small enough to keep warm fairly effectively!  ;D

You've got to look on the bright side.  ;D ;D
