tbh i think it was more than a month before i really had any success with the TMX. partly because of the EDC recipes and partly because i'm a cook who doesn't like to follow recipes so would overfill / put too much liquid etc plus it is a different way of cooking...
but i got there eventually!

I'm glad that you enjoyed Baf's chicken Chrissy.
I'm a bit like Brazen, it was quite a while before I was really into my TMX. It was this forum that gave me recipes and kept me going. To be honest it was probably a year before I could do things without checking on similar recipes and just go for it. When you have been cooking for years it can take a bit of getting used to. Small steps first.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
