Great hint, thanks Andie. When I have to cut the dome off to ice a cake that is mine. :P

How many muffin tops does it make with the recipe, Rara? Thanks.

CP, I too have put my hand on these muffin top tins and then taken it away. I think I may try these in my old fashioned patty pan tin. Each section has a round bottom and they're rather flat. I normally use it for mini quiches.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

As yiu can see they are smaller than muffin tops, but they are so rich the size suits me.

Ds just scoffed 1, told him no more, he has the cross country race tomorrow and i would like him to get passed the start line, if he eats too many he might wobble over at the start. ;D

Thanks Rara,

I had an email last night, any chance of cakes for cross country at school, so i took them all bar 3, 1 for each of us. They sold very quickly. A very easy and tasty recipe.

Will make again

Thanks

I just realized I have yet to leave a comment on these as I have made them several times now and they are always a hit with the kids. I am sure I will be making these for many years to come.
