Must look for one of those dipping gadgets, like the look of the pattern it leaves  ;) ;)

JD I have had it forever - bought it as part of a chocolate making / mould set when chocolate moulds of all types were popular when our daughters were young.  ;)

Thanks CC - it was wonderful to hear all the positives.  Crowd watching at the wedding was entertaining - caterers did a great job of presenting all different desserts on multi tiered glass plates.  Guests would take their choice but then you could see that they would discuss their selection with a guest at another table - overhearing comments such as "have you tried this one".  We had made labels for the table so that people did not have to wonder about the varieties - plus we had made it easier by putting fresh mint leaves near the chocmint cheesecake and a fanned strawberry on the top of each NY baked cheesecake slice while the blondies I had drizzled white choc across the top. All in all a very fulfilling experience!!!!!  :)  :)

Will post blondie recipe with pic as new topic

Wow Johnro that's an impressive sweet bar!  Well done.

I have one of those dipping swirls lurking in one of my overcrowded gadget boxes (all my gadgets can't fit in the draws), so this week I am going to find it  ;D.  It would make dipping the cherry bites a lot easier!

Thanks Rara - all of you talented lovelies would have been able to replicate easily. You will laugh at the phone call DD had yesterday re cherry bites - a guest from the wedding rang to rave about the cherry bites, but his question to DD - how were you able to take the filling from cherry ripe bars? - only a male would pose such a question!!!!!!!!
Cheers

Robyn  ???  :D  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

No stopping you now Judy - let us know when you discover the multiple uses  :)  :) You will certainly find the choc coating of cherry bites easier than using the 2 forks.  :)  :)

I don't dip very often johnro but it will be a handy gadget to have in the drawer.

The dipping gadget saves heaps of time, loved it once I got the gist of it and didn't bounce the balls back into the chocolate with my exuberance   ;D ;D

We didn't try any other method Judy, the wedding dessert/sweet bar was the first time I had made cherry bites - even so it was still time consuming!

I bought a chocolate dipper from house too. My family are addicted to cherry bites!! I even made them for the kids to take on the last day of school for the teachers. Got asked by eldest son to make them so his friends could try them cos he was raving about them.
