I didn't see the article and by the sounds of it I'm glad I didn't. There's no short cut to loosing weight and cooking with a new appliance that makes it much easier to make sweet treats certainly isn't the short answer.

Gert you are indeed a super sleuth. After reading those I feel sicker than I did with the advertorial. >:( >:(

I wondered what the program was going to be like...  very interesting to aim the machine at weight loss.  Agree with other comments here that you don't need a TMX to eat healthier or to lose weight but have to say I am one of the few here who has lost rather than gained in the 18 months or so I have had my machine .... about 10 kilos :) I do actually put it down to making all my own food now rather than buying stuff and we do only eat one meal a day but still it's been since the TMX that I've felt I've really got control on what we eat.

Okay now I didn't see the show because we can't watch it from here  :( but I certainly did appreciate the links to the articles and this brought up a question for me...

It said in the article from WABusiness News that "Bianca has also completed studies and work experience in nutrition and dietetics, which has prompted her to produce a Thermomix cookbook based on healthy eating." ... so I am wondering about this book of hers. Is it out yet? Not that I've heard. Hmmm.... I thought Quirky Jo was working on a book for healthy eating. Hmmmm again.... Does that mean there will be two such books? ???

Helene - the 'Gluten Free Wheat Free Cooking' book (available on the Australian website) has a Foreword written by Bianca Mazur. Maybe that's the one she is talking about in the article?
