Hi TM Ted,

welcome to the forum and your post made me want a TM even more (non-owner here) saving my hard earned pennies for one!  I love FU iced coffee and especially the new stronger tasting one as I love a strong coffee.

I am sure with experimenting you will come up with a great tasting cappucino and I will watch this post for when you have mastered it and share  :D

Can someone please explain how the time posting works? It is doing my head in.

How do I mark a posting as read, OR, does the system handle that for me?

the system takes care of it...you can see at the top of each topic page if it has been read or not as if read it will read mark as unread on the button...make sense

the easiest thing to do and what most of us do is in your user info box that is at the top of each page once your logged in to click on unread posts since last visit and do that each time you log in to go through unread posts unless your searching for a specific topic..hope this helps  :)

Ted, in regard to time setting, I also had trouble when I first joined the forum so check out this thread where Thermomixer gave me the advice which fixed it.  Back then I was on EST but looking at my time now it is SA time so don't know when I managed to get it spot on.

Yesterday when I updated my profile I set the Time Offset to 9 1/2 hours so I know that was correct.

Earlier this morning I saw a posting from WA that the system was saying was Today at 7:42am. In Perth it would have been Today at 5:12am. It was 8:30am Adelaide so could not have been 7:42 am Perth. That posting was there when I went to bed last night.

Thanks judydawn and Frozzie for helping me understand.

More importantly, I am going to move the thread re Great Cappuccino to the Drinks section. I have some thoughts about where I am going wrong.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.
