Looks like I am eating humble pie.

It would have been Ayla's recipe that I found on the forum and modified slightly.

I have picked up a few from here, and made some slight mods to them to suit us.

Apologies again Ayla, thanks for picking this up Judy.

No problems Ted.  Better to be told than get into trouble with the original poster of the recipe.  Best to just add something like, 'recipe adapted slightly from one posted by ........' and even give the URL link to the original recipe.  That saves any hassles.

Welcome Ladds. I wonder what you ended up cooking?

Wow!! What a lovely group of people you all are to leave me all these wonderful messages!! I have to admit my first meal was... Rice!!! Sad but true! Slow and steady... But saw the tuna mornay recipe so will try that!  came on tonight as have my little ones 1st birthday tomorrow and need to look for scone and cupcake recipes.

Have to ask though, have used the TM a few times now to cook rice and water bubbles out the top at about the last 2 minute stage. I thought I may have had the measuring cup in wrong way but that wasn't it. Is it a seal issue, has that happened to others?

Thanks again everyone!

hi ladds

is it water or the starch type substance that you get when cooking rice or pasta or potatoes etc..if the latter you can either just take out the mc and it should stop blubbing a bit or sit hte MC on a slight angle in the hole to allow some of the heat to escape and stop the bubbling...if it is pushing the mc up even when its sitting onan angle then take out mc and put the basket on top of the lid right side up..dont bother putting it upside down as it just keeps falling off...one of those things should work..

also check the amount of water your adding is the right amount..

hope this helps  :)
