I'm in Hampshire in the UK
We live in a large village - I'm not sure how they define "large" but our nearest decent supermarket is 10 miles away. We have a smallish supermarket in the village (also several pubs, a butchers and a post office but no bank) but it has limited choice and is expensive. We have a really great farm shop a couple of miles away. Great as in lovely produce but also expensive.

Glad you enjoyed it Nik. I often pull it out to give things a bit of flavour.

Sue made this last weekend and we LOVE it!!
Out of curiosity ... how long does it keep for? Contemplating if I need to freeze some of it (gosh I will need 3 freezers like Hally soon!)

I made this today (full amount) and it filled a 700g? bottle that Passata comes in. I was surprised that there was no actual cooking for this. Tastes great.

I have to ask the same question as Faffa - how long does this last, anyone know?

My first lot lasts a while. I can't really remember how long. After that I just reduced the amounts because I was running out of large bottles. Can't see why freezing won't work though.

Thanks Sue
I use wine bottles to store larger amounts of sauce, cordial etc in
No wine bottle makes it to my bin in this house. I remove the foil bit from inside the lid and then wash and sterilise as per normal
