Stacelee,

I did a bit of research on my Qantas FF points a little while back and I found it worked out better to use points to buy gift cards and then buy in a store.  I was basing my research on a Samsung Galaxy phone. To buy from FF store cost 144,500 points, to buy gift cards for Harvey Norman and go and buy the phone cost 34,900 points.  I was amazed ! Check if flybuys is the same ....... you might get a lot more for your points lol.
That is well worth knowing.  It means that you also can get what YOU want, not whatever they are dishing out.  I will definitely keep that in mind for the futue.

I am really excited about a book I just receive in the post "Vegan Pie In The Sky" because, ever since DH became lactose intolerant we haven't been able to have pastry ... and now (I hope) we can.  I am very much looking forward to browsing through and reading the recipes.  Fingers are crossed that I will get something out of it.

I find swapping points for cash or store cards is much better. We then use those to bye the exact gifts we want/need.

I was in Kmart minding my own business when this leapt into my arms.  Bad Boy.

This is what I did.

This is what Jamie did.

Looks good Gert, strange the way they just jump of the shelves into our arms, when shopping. It's happened to me quite a few times. 😊😊😊
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Yes it was a great dish and the one he did on TV last night. It took 15 minutes Hally!!  The chicken was so crispy on the outside and really moist on the inside.i used only one breast even though I cooked two. There was plenty of it with   DH eating 2/3 s.
