It was the 3 pairs of shoes that was the expensive bit!
The kids used their Christmas money in the toy shop.
I ve been going through their rooms getting rid of toys & didn't really want any more.

school supplies are very expensive ::)
apparently from what the bank said people randomly generate numbers and enter them with a small amount first ie ours was $5.63 and if it works they continue to larger amounts luckily the Commonwealth bank is very on to it and pick it up quickly so apart from inconvenience all worked out well.

THE SHOPPING THREAD :-)
« Reply #11282 on: January 19, 2014, 07:31:53 pm »
A little while ago I was looking for a large chopping board to use as a serving platter, for pizzas and to use as a heat mat on our table. During our stay in the city I finally got to the Vic market to a stall Marina had kindly got me a card from. DH and I both loved this board so purchased it on the spot. It's nice a big and is made of lovely camphor laurel so has quite and antiseptic (but in a nice way) smell to it. I wasn't planning on using it as an actual chopping board but it's so. Ice I think I probably will leave it on the bench Nd use it most of the time. The camphor laurel is meant to be a natural retardant of bacteria so it will just need wiping with warm soapy water.  Thanks Marina for the tip off.

Some rooms are vanilla, as is hall, landing and stairs.
Some rooms are a mix of vanilla and almond in equal quantities.
One bedroom will be almond.

Now that you mention it, yes the frog is quite obvious - good spotting maddy and it's nice to see you are still shopping ;)  I love the black dress in particular.

Nice dresses Maddy - I know you won't buy anything kitcheny as there are so many other areas where you can channel your shopping talents.

Nice colours DJ - I love neutrals too.
