I bought another cookbook: The Blue Ducks. Cafe is just around the corner from where DD2 lives in Bronte. When I visited her just recently we had brekky there, and it was by the far the best bacon and eggs I have ever tasted in my life
Love the philosophy behind the cafe and the fact they have chooks and a vegie garden behind the cafe. Interesting reading.

Their cooking is obviously a good recommendation for their book. I will have to check it out CP.

Hi GirlPower, lovely to hear from you.
Thanks cookie1...apologies for being AWOL regarding not posting for such a long time but life's circumstances threw me a couple of unexpected curve balls that rocked my little world for a time and I just wasn't up to contributing much of anything...BUT I did still check in here often so hope that kinda makes up for it....I may not post often (Im a bit of a fits and starts girl) but I just had to post the link that I just read today to maybe help clarify the wallets

I checked this out this morning to make sure, and you are right GP, only the silver ones offer full RFID protection, the 'hybrid's only offer partial protection - to get any benefit with a hybrid you should have your credit card/s as close to the front (or top) as possible where there is some metallic covering.

I took it that the hybrids were RFID protective but had a rubberised coating on the silver or metal. When I phoned I was told it was the same protection just in a different case. In any case my handbag is RFID protective anyway.

... it sounds a bit like it is the tax office ... you ring as often as you need to until you get the answer you want as everyone has a different interpretation of the facts!

I'd have to agree with that Marina. My brother works in the tax office in Canberra and he carries into every day life too.

@Cuilidh....their website description indicated the non RFID wallets were more to protect cards with magnetic strips also. I felt it would be fairly easy to think they all had the same protection, the FAQ section ~ right hand column, towards the bottom also notes only the silver case has the additional RFID protection in it.
They look like nice cases, will look forward to more feedback....gosh this shopping thread is addictive....I also love my Philips air fryer too, it gets used lots ....thanks ladies!

I have just read another thread on saving money by cooking food from the pantry but I think this thread makes me want to spend money; just as well I don't have a credit card. Having said that, I do love this thread and all I learn about available products. Just bought myself a vacuum food sealer today because I saw it in the shop and it was the one I wanted.

Am starting to get excited about my upcoming holiday, and have purchased a
Travel Pouch
. I think its high time I looked after my own passport and ticket instead of handing it over to my DH for safekeeping
