Well now I have a respectable set of cake forks

Vintage style chairs for candle display props & the vintage sectioned tray, I thought perfect for the cupcake & macaron candle display...I have my first candle party booked in  8)

Pretty glass bottles for the reed diffusers I make, just for me at home ;-)

.....and this morning I paid the deposit for DD's study tour to Indonesia next year  :-X  I have 12 months to put the worry to the back of my mind!!

It will be...she is perusing this language in her VCE, so it will be invaluable to her.

What I thought was wonderful, is her teacher jumped & danced with happiness when she told her she could go...I left the decision til the last day, because of MY own travel fears...but I know I made the right decision for her   :)

You absolutely made the right decision Maddy. We don't think we are good mothers unless we are worrying. Yeh, there a risk in travelling -she's young, we're mum's, we worry.
You've done your job in raising her to be a strong young woman.   :)

Maddy the first time DD did that sort of thing I figured there was some safety in numbers. It doesn't help much, just a little.

True Cookie....DD had a point when she was selling it to me....."Would you rather me doing this trip on my own when I'm 18?, or with the supervision & safety with teachers?"

I  Know once she has that passport, I will lose her to the "world"....but this trip has me feel more secure  ;)

How very exciting Mich. Now you can whip up a storm. Or perhaps not after last night in the Sydney area.

Great shopping Maddy, love to see all the wonderful things you buy
I am sure DD will have a wonderful time and learn so much.  I know we still worry about them though.  :)

Michele, enjoy cooking with your new TMX
