Thanks for the recipe Chookie.  I might make some today.   Have had a house full because of the fires but just Mum here now.  In the recipe book that comes with the machine they use quite a bit of liquid pectin.  Any idea where you might get it and why they use it??

Michelle lovely photo - enjoy your new little bundle!!!

Thanks for all the good wishes.  ;D

Went to Hornsby for a shop today. Bought a cookbook -Ebleskivers, thought it would help me use the cakepop maker more. ($20 cookbook to use the $10 cakepop maker)  :-))
Two for one at Crabtree & Evelyn - love the pomegranate. A dress from Laura Ashley on sale, love her things. http://www.laura-ashley.com.au/Strappy-Dress-With-Pleats.aspx?p62581

Although I basically do a lot of things from scratch compared to a lot of peeps, I'm going to start the challenge she has ATM which is the "Superhealthy Challenge". I was slightly disappointed might I add that there wasnt much of a challenge, so much as to just cook from her books. I had hoped  before she even publicly released this, with the help of her co-writer who used to be a personal trainer, that this challenge would also have something along the Michelle Bridges line...but it didn't. When it was released it was disappointing in my mind. I hope they will pick up from there, and make it more of a challenge both in a physical and mental sense rather than "buy the book, and all my other books and set your menu's and you will live happily ever after".  To the point of the much anticipated challenge I am disappointed. I will wait and see if anything more exciting comes of this. Meanwhile I will review recipes as I do them.

That's the reason I bought her book CP. I had hoped for more, something like the CSIRO books where they give you the menu for 12 weeks. However I will see what I can do with it.
I was very impressed though, as when I was ordering her book yesterday their site seemed to drop out, so I started all over again. I ended up ordering 2 books. I thought I would just give one away. However Alyce rang this morning at 6.30am and she had noticed my order and was checking if I wanted 1 or 2 books. I thought that was great service.
I will see how I go with this, it might not last long as I like to cook the same for all the family.

I just bought the WW 2-day Fast Diet Recipe book.
Haven't gone through it thoroughly, but it has menu' set out with all calories counted for the fast days.  I figured that if we want to do this long term, the least I could do was spoil myself with another cookbook.

I bought Mum and Dad a Hoselink hose as a thank you for looking after DD while I'm at work. I am so impressed with the service, it was delivered in less than 24hrs!
-I'm still waiting on my bread tins :/
Also ordered a new pram/stroller :)

Favourite purchase at the moment is Coles Click and Collect...30 minutes to order (max), choose a pick up location and time. and then when is ready I pick it up :) much more convenient than even home delivery :)
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

Cookie, I have had a good look at all the recipes in the book and I like it a lot.
In the front it has a menu guide for 500cal (women) and another for 600 (men).
Nearly all the recipes are 1 serve only, so you can easily double for a couple, much easier than decreasing a recipe of 4  or 6 serves in a lot of books.
Like all WW books, all ingredients are readily available, it has recipes for fish, different meats, vegetarian, snacks, drinks and more.
