I've never had a cabin suitcase and thinking of Melbourne for later this year and DH's weekends to NZ to watch the rugby and visit family, we bought a cabin bag. It was on sale at a very reasonable price. Hopefully we will be able to save the $20-$30 of check-in luggage and it will also be useful for the camper trailer. I always pack way too much stuff. As a bonus it came in my favourite colour - red  ;D It still weighs 2.4kgs so packing light will be a priority.

You can do it. I have only had a carry  on for years. Makes life sooooo easy. No body is looking at you for wearing the same thing for days in a row. Who cares??

Absolutely Gert, Who cares or takes notice? I take way too much stuff every time I go away.

Mind you it is possible I may just have a checked bag for Melbourne if I book with QF. There may be some shopping I may have to do. Or NOT!

I ordered these leather pants which arrived yesterday.  Absolutely love them!  Such soft comfortable leather that smell great.  The only thing was the outside of the thighs were a little gapey so I took them to a dress maker and she is taking them in there and also taking 11cm off the length so they should fit great then.

I also bought these lovely shoes yesterday, couldn't resist them as they were so comfortable even though they are a high heel.  They will go with a few things in my wardrobe.  They do look lighter in the photo.  When on they are darker and you see sparkly bits here and there.  :D

Julie you are indeed stylish. Good on you. If I had the figure I'd love a pair of leather pants. I adore the shoes. You will indeed look beautiful.

They look great JulieO. Can I ask where you got the pants? I'm looking for a jacket at the moment and have been looking online as well as in stores but worried about buying online when I can't feel the actual quality. I had leather pants when I was 18 - not sure I could do them again  :o

Thankyou Judy and Cookie, you are such lovelies!  :D

Wonder I bought them from Ezibuy, no hassle returns if they don't fit or are not what you want.   :)

Love them Julie. If you had leather pants up here you could watch the mould grow at the moment. LOL!
