Bought 2 Gooseberry bushes and 1 blueberry bush to go in our newly designed veggie garden. Also a snail trap.

Wow Gayle, that's Shopping! FNQ retirement home, lovely. Like the sound of your apple watch too.
Chookie, hope Evan and I will glean some vege garden ideas from you in October.
Love the Jewellry display Kyton, nice to do something creative.

Great craft work Kyton; jewellery should be on display and not in a little box like mine.

Thanks Gert. We wouldn't miss you out.
Robyn you will probably hear us before you see us. When the 4 of us get together there is often lots of laughter.
No definite plans at the moment but many thoughts.

Saw this adjustable rolling pin when I was away so had to buy it along with a round nut loaf tin to replace my old one which seems to have disappeared.
Also found a lovely shop called the Rustic Pantry in Moruya when we went for a drive. Lots of lovely things in there. I bought some organic wheat, a breakfast cereal mix of oats, barley quina and something else I can't remember, dried fruit & some nuts. I could have spent a lot of time in there but DH was pacing about outside.

Maybe the clever hardware shops should arrange to be sited next to the great kitchen shops so that everyone can shop happily ... and there could be a couple of cafes nearby as well.

Great shopping everyone. I rarely go shopping with DH because he tends to follow me around and I feel like I can't look properly - sounds like it's a man thing!
MAB, do you have a TMX recipe for your nut loaf? I purchased a tin yesterday as I've been wanting to make date and nut loaf for ages. I don't think I've ever made it before but really felt like it and saw the tin at the bread shop yesterday so grabbed it.

There is a Quilting shop in Albany (WA) that caters for DH's. They have a gazebo in the middle of the shop where men can sit, they have newspapers to read. The lady at the counter even slides the total sum spent across the counter without saying what it is out loud. Lol
Don't know whether the shop is still there, been a few years, but what a great idea!
