That's a gorgeous top Cookie. The sheer overshirt is a nice touch.

bought DH a spit for his birthday. We'll be having a crowd over on Sunday lunch and it will be the first one we've ever done  :-\

Happy Birthday to your DH CP - You might have to do some googling for tips.

That sounds great. Will you be doing the suckling pig on it for Sunday?  Happy Birthday to your DH.

Glad you found a nice new outfit cookie, you will look very dapper in it.

I love spit cooked meat, it's been years since I've been anywhere there's been a crowd large enough to use one though. Happy birthday to your DH CP.

I'm typing on my new iPad.  Today I went into town to shout myself a new one as my gifted first edition iPad has finally been put to rest.  Already I'm noticing a difference with just the typing being easier and more accurate. Once Katie's DH sets it up on the weekend properly for me I'm sure I'll love it.  I can hear Gert saying 'about time' LOL.

This is another thing I've been able to buy this week due to my recent illness - you can't spend money if you are home sick.  A vacuum cleaner and an iPad - very happy with that.

To my dear forum friend who gifted me my old one, a sincere and grateful thank you xxxxx

Judy you will love your new iPad. I would be utterly lost without mine.

Katj the shop is in High Road Riverton. Next to an Asian Grocer. They ladies are so friendly. They are also honest with their opinions too, which I appreciate. They told me I looked boobalicious in one!  It definitely was very 'chesty'.

Boobalicious   I just laughed so hard cookie too funny, lovely top you decided on.
I bought myself some new workout gear my girlfriend and I have started on a fitness regime 3 weeks in and loving it, it's a program called  bbg ( the bikini body guide ) so far so good   not so much getting into a bikini but 30 minutes  3 days a week and we walk on the other days is doing wonders not just physically but I feel mentally refreshed

I love your new word Cookie; I had to go and buy some new boobalicious covers this morning. Love your new clothes too. Do you have to take everything up like I do; I always feel that I have to chop $10 off the bottoms of everything that I buy so I suppose that is why I try to sew clothes.

Yes Troupie. I chop up to 6 inches off some trousers. In fact DH has used the ends I cut off jeans to make little bags to put our fishing reels in.  :D :D
I love buying 3/4 trousers as they are then pretty much the right length for me.
I no longer wear dresses, in fact I haven't worn one for over at least 10 years.

I love your new top Cookie and the sheer coat is a nice idea.

I'm another one who has to take her clothes as they are always far too long. :)

I bought a new iPad cover and a screen protector today plus a useful gadget for removing the leaves from rosemary and thyme.  I find thyme in particular is so time consuming to defoliate.
