I think it is good to support the blogs you read and use regularly. I have bought Cooking with Plants new book. She is an Aussie and I love her recipes. I have been trying to convert to ebooks but I just love the feel of a real book and browsing through it. The kindle isn't quite the same. Some of blog cookbooks I have are so pretty and I use them as decorative pieces around the house.
Love the outfit CC and also the chair that big Ted is sitting on.Cookie I look forward to a review on the Nifty but Thrifty book. My DD also set me up with PayPal as I don't and wont have a credit card.
Have you read PlantPlate Mich?http://www.plantplate.com/ She too is an Aussie (her mother is a friend of mine) and has just released an ebook on plant based eating for $5 per day. It looks like a great book too.
I am not sure about sources where you live, Mich, but I got some liquid smoke from one of the stands at Victoria Market in Melbourne ... if you are stuck I can get some for you and send it up. Let me know.
Thanks Jamberie for the link to PlantPlate. Some lovely recipes!
You can buy it in Perth at Kakulas Sisters and no doubt other foodie shops. The bottle I have is branded Tone's Liquid Smoke. Handy stuff and lasts a long time.
