Oh Maddy, my GD would absolutely love you; there is only one colour in her palate and that is pink and she is trying very hard to learn cake decorating and I am not much help. She can make the cakes and is getting good at the decorating (11 yrs old). I am giving her a voucher for her birthday to buy some cake decorating bits and pieces.

I'm sure she will love that Troupie.
My purchase of biscuit cutters for the Pasta machine.

They look interesting cookie. Looking forward to your biscuit photos in due course.
Troupie, are there any cake decorating classes in your area. If GD is talented in this way they would benefit her. I did one in my 30's but I just don't have an artistic bone in my body when it comes to cake decorating.

Thanks Judy; yes there are some but mainly for adults. On a few school holidays they have had classes which I have booked her into but they have to drive up from Busselton; good excuse to have them stay though. I am not artistic either and have to have a picture to copy for me to do things. I did some cake decorating but it was not my thing.

Did some shopping at the Salamanca Markets in Hobart, loved the place, we could only cover half of the place as it was soooo big
Bought some lovely winter dresses and yes the famous, "Bread Knife", Thanks Cookie, I made sure I found the place, havent used it yet but gave it a try at the shop and was very impressed

Will be interested to see how you go with these Cookie. I have them as they came with the pasta maker. I wasn't successful with them but that would be the operator and not the machine. I also have some noodle discs as well that I haven't tried out yet.

I haven't bought anything for ages but I asked DH's ex-BIL to pick up a new ladder for me on Monday and him and his wife delivered it yesterday.

Much safer than this oldie which will be going out for a council pick-up tomorrow. I don't intend doing too much climbing but it's always handy to have a ladder available for others to do odd jobs for you.

It is a better ladder, but take care Judy.

Definitely a good idea to get rid of that old ladder, Judy.

Thanks girls, I've done quite a bit of maintenance work on the garden and all the yukkas were offshoots from those in my front rockery - they are going ahead in leaps and bounds and didn't cost a cent.
