Trudy we will probably wait until school goes back next year before we go away.

Are you going to go away for a weekend Cookie just to test the van out?

That's all we've done since getting our "new" van back in August.  :)

I'm shopping for my secret Santa at work. The friend has recently started a cake decorating business so looking to complement her tools. To the experienced decorators out there, do you have some favorite purchases that might inspire?
My favourite tool lately is my square scraper, like this one, it makes the dudes and tops of cakes so smooth and straight. Also you can never have enough disposable piping bags.

DH came home with a copy of Jamie Oliver's new book for me. It's called Super Food Family Classics, it has all the recipes from his new TV show that's on at the moment.

What a lovely DH Katj. I have something similar to that Kim but I use mine for bread, cutting and scraping.

Yes ladies, I do indeed have a wonderful thoughtful DH, he has also ordered Quirky Jo's new book that comes out in March. He knows he will be the one to benefit from all the new recipes.

As mentioned we picked up the new van on Monday. At last I have taken a photo. I will do the inside later as DH is putting indoor/ outdoor carpet through it at the moment. It is too tall to go into our shed so it will be living under this patio roof. The old car is a bit hemmed in at the moment but DH hopes to put a roller door into the back of our third garage so the old car can get out without having to move the van.

It sounds as if you have a bit of juggling to do on the property cookie.  Your DH sure does like to have a project on the go.
