Maybe Gert but I can still get myself into a pickle.  Phone was set up by the salesman, I set up the iPad but since I tried to install the new landline I’ve managed to lose the phone and internet LOL. I’ve transferred the SIM card from the old iPad to the new one but can’t connect the new keypad, maybe it needs wifi on for that. I’m off to bed to watch the football and have a break! Trying to be too smart for my own good just doesn’t work.

Judy, I have to smile at your independent stance. ( Gert is another who amazes us)  Ral and I are bl++++ hopeless with this technology. We go to the Apple shop and look like 2 old hopeless GP and the nice staff sort us out.  By the time we leave we know their life story, ( and usually that of their family) .  We then go to Coco Black to recover from spending so much on something that we hardly understand.

These shops are full of people like us Chookie, some with their kids but more without. Staff are wonderfully patient with us.

I'm fortunate DD helps us. The boys at the Apple store are also wonderful to deal with. They seem to understand people with grey hair very well and are very patient.
I have friends who wont go near ipads etc. I love mine and love trying new IT stuff ..........as long as it keeps doing what I want it to. DH gets very cross with his at times. A bit of the grumpy old man syndrome. We usually sort it out.

Bought 3 cooking books while in Melbourne.  $7 each.  Have been trying not to buy any more.
One on cooking in small heatproof dishes.
One on French Country Kitchens.  Each Kitchen featured has recipe attached.
One on Bread.  If I had written a bread book, this would have been it. Only problem is that it is American and the measurements are all in imperial. I am giving this one to our gardener.

Here is my latest book.  I thought it may give me some ideas for different ways to do veggies.

This is a backpack I picked up at MYER on super special, just before we went away last week.  I like a backpack when you are scrambling round as I can have my wallet with me and my iPad, but still leave my hands free.  My last one sort of fell apart on our previous trip.

Nice backpack, Cookie ... they are so handy.  I love bum bags, although a imited range is still available, it's a shame they have largely gone "out of fashion".

This is a Leona Edmonston one and was marked down a lot.  I love it.
