Judy, your TV room looks lovely.
Obbie, if you get a TM6, will there be any room left in your kitchen for you??? I will look forward to hearing what you think of the '6.

Judy, love the look of your TV room. Neutral colours are great.
Obbie, will be interested to hear about the Thermo 6.
I’m returning to the new shop of cooking ingredients, with my own containers today. Dried cherries , honey and gluten free flour on the list. Might also try their dish washing liquid.

Thanks for the nice comments on my new room ladies, I feel very relaxed out here.
Take lots of containers Chookie, you might need them! Great idea.
The TM is becoming way too technical for me I think, the old TM31 will see me out I hope. I will be interested in hearing what it’s like though from those who have bought it.

I'm happy with my 31 and the 5. The 6 sounds impressive but I only want and need 2 machines.

I just thiught it would be good, haven't really bought anything fancy sime TM5. will have the 2 machines.
I sold my HMP... as well.
There is a flood of TM5's on the market from consultants selling, and cheap books / chips.

I love my Tm31 , I call her the work horse and TM5 is great . But it makes me restless seeing the TM 6 . It looks great . I cannot imagine giving up either machine so I’ll just play the waiting thinking game .

I cannot remember how many years since the TM5 came on the market ... perhaps 3 - 4 years? so you may not have to wait too long before they decide to replace the TM6 and you can get a 2nd hand one, or, on the other hand, you may want to go to the TM(7?). I'm still more than happy to stick with my '31.

Watched a long video by Sophia about the TMX 6. Worth a look. Confirmed what I thought. I will continue to wait for one that will allow me to upload my recipes on to a chip. Probably never happen as there is no money in this for the company.
All said I love my machine. I use it every day and mostly several times a day.
I took lots of Jars to The Source. I looked at every item in the shop. There are 50 shops. 2 in London, England , the latest in Taralagon in Victoria, 1 in Fitzroy and 1 in Brunswick. Because the food is in bulk, it is mostly cheaper than Supermarkets. Lots of organic stuff. Very good quality.

We've got a 'Source' shop down the road from us .. it is actually in Collingwood, not Fitzroy (I just had to put that in seeing as it is on the same street as us in Collingwood !). Their organic dried mango is gorgeous. However, we were once caught short of flour (I cannot remember whether it was light rye or spelt) so we got some from there and it really wasn't nice at all. We sometimes get their peanut butter, but it is expensive and DH reckons the one he makes in the TMX is better. But they have a huge variety of goods and I am always tempted to pop in to see what I can buy!

I have some things to drop at the Good Sammy shop so I must make the effort to go up to Source.
Marina where do you usually get your flours from?

I bought some organic bread flour from The Source, to try. Will let you know what I think. So far I like Laucke best.
Marina, some of the produce from the Source is expensive , but like anywhere you need to know prices.
Marina, I would be interested to know what peanuts your DH uses for his peanut butter.

Cookie, we get our flour direcly from Laucke - Wallaby 55 if I remember correctly ... Chookie put us on to it so she can correct me if I have it wrong. The spelt and rye flours are from one of the high turnover organic stalls at Victoria Market.
Chookie, I just get roasted unsalted peanuts, also from Victoria Market (I think the stall is called The Nut Shack). I don't think they are organic, but they are generally pretty good quality. I am not sure, but I
think
DH puts a touch of oil in as well, but I could be wrong. If you want more details let me know and I'll get on to it.

Thanks. I have trouble finding rye flour here- I can get it from Source. I saw that Laucke could send me some for less than I pay here.

Thanks Marina. Ral likes peanuts. I usually re roast them in the AF.
I have found that the freshness of the flour makes a difference.
