I managed to get to the new Kitchen Warehouse today. I bought 8 small jelly moulds, 2 larger ones and a lovely big glass basin to make my sourdoughs in without it going everywhere. Now I must make some jellies from the book 'Wobblie' I bought before Christmas.

Had delivery of my freezer today so went to Gawler River Meat Co here in Adelaide and bought 3 x 2 packs of large chickens @ $6.99 a pack (1.2kg chickens), 4 x 500g free range chicken mince @ $2 each, lamb's fry 50 cents.  Have ordered a beef pack through a daily inbox special elsewhere but these prices are amazing and I will certainly be going back there.

I didn't buy it but no less exciting, Mum picked me up a cornishware pie funnel on her travels.  Thanks Mum, this has just reignited my need to collect again. ;D

Wow, JD, that's so cheap!

Frozzie, I wonder if Office for Mac will work on an iPad. I have it on my MacBook and it has Excel, Power Point and Outlook as well.
I'm off to Google to find out.

Just checked on the Apple site and no, you have to use Pages.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

H :)

I don't think the breasts were free-range but the mince certainly was @ $2 for 500g. I didn't spend that much time looking where the breasts and thighs were but will check it out more thoroughly next time.

Yay well done MJ, I brought myself a secondhand iPad ( first version) in October last year and I use it all the time. I also brought a wireless printer so I can print from my iPad or iPhone as well as my laptop and the kids computers. Saves having lots of printers in the house. Anyway I use the iPad more than the computer now.
