Marina, you will love it. I bought one for my SIL for helping me . He loved it so much that he bought his mum one.

Thats lovely Chookie. Many years ago a new shop, The Good Guys, opened near us.They had Panasonic bread makers out for about $100 as a special. DH rushed up and bought us a new one and one for his Mum. Then I decided my Mum needed one too. My brother then decided he needed one too.
They wondered what he was up too.

This morning I decided I wanted to change my bedroom linen to blue so off to Spotlight I went. One thing leads to another with these colour changes so it meant a new throw, pillow, only 1 cushion as I couldn’t find many that went with the quilt cover and of course then towels for the ensuite.  The quilt cover is reversible, white with blue flowers one side and a dark blue with white flowers on the other side so I now have a summer and winter all in one cover. Will keep my eye out for more scatter cushions to suit.

It looks beautiful, Judy - nothing like a change of linens to brighten up your room.

Judy , that is lovely. Nothing like a change of bed linen. Love the colours.
Yesterday went to Melbourne for what turned out for a spoil Mum day. Loved it. Visited GD , at her shared apartment .
Headed for Lygon St, had lunch and did the shops. Bought 2 cookbooks. Probably shouldn’t. But what the hell. Bought books for kids next door and a book and lovely baby clothes for the kids of the Dr who looked after RAL.
Didn’t make it to Cosco. DIL said she would take me another time.
Stopped at fruit and veggie shop on the way home and stocked up on fresh stuff.
Nice way to feel exhausted.

Thanks Marina and Chookie.  Your day out in Melbourne sounds like the old days when you used to book into a hotel for a few days to enjoy your capital city Chookie. What a great way to spoil Mum, well done DD.

I bought a new Bosch front load washing machine today.  My old Maytag top loader is 28 years old and hasn't been working as it should so I decided it was time for a new machine.

That’s a magnificent run from your old machine Margaret, it deserves retirement.

Gosh 28 years is a long time. Maytag certainly deserve their good name.
