Marina, interesting. My DIL gave me one. I find chopping on 3 or 4 does the same, that is doesn’t move up the bowl.  Maybe I should try again.

Isn't it funny how different techniques can be so very different and change between us all - I found chopping onions/garlic at 3 or 4 (even for only 1-2 seconds) tended to leave me with a very wet mix and this cover worked really well for me.

It will be interesting to see how this goes cookie, not that I need one but I did think of buying one for the grandkids.

I ordered a GPS tracker to go in the motorhome. We now have to decide where to hide it. It notifies us if it is moved (hopefully we remember to unlock its boundaries when we drive off).
If it’s stolen it will help get it back - hopefully. A bit too expensive to lose.

That is a good idea Cookie. I don’t think I’ll be doing much shopping today. It is 1 degree but feels like -4. Showers on and off.

The cold weather didn’t completely curtail my shopping. I managed 3 new cooking books, several offset silicone spatulas, ( good for AF ). A ceramic butter dish. A Pineapple Sage plant and 2 Hellebore plants. One a lovely deep purple and the other delicate cream with pink edges. Lots of new foodie ideas. I hadn’t been back to Kyneton for 10 years, the change was amazing.

Wonderful shopping Chookie. What cook books did you buy? I’ve sort of run amuck a bit lately. These are my latest purchases.

Cookie, the 3 books I bought are, Ottolengi Comfort, The Actually Delicious Air Fryer Cookbook and Countrystyle, Seasons.
Your books look interesting. I think you could probably write a Bread one.

I don’t need another cooking appliance but I just had to have a mini waffle iron. I see Cookie has one. Works amazing well. Used recipe on the box it came in . Made 8 waffles . Cooked in 7 minutes.

I love it Chookie. It seems so much easier than pulling the big one out.

Cookie, think I will get my GD one. I use the large ice cream scoop for the batter. Perfect.

Waffle irons were mentioned a week or so ago and I gave it some thought, but held back from making a purchase. However, I could be seriously tempted by a mini waffle iron - what make / model is it please.  Ta
