Ha ha Gert so true!. I recently spend a few weeks in Rockhampton and decided that putting on makeup, blowdrying hair and ironing clothes were all an absolute waste of time. The makeup slid off, the hair went frizzy and the clothes were crushed and/or drenched in minutes. According to the locals I'm now officially a "Southerner"  ;D ;D

Welcome to our world!!!

When you go to the ereaderiq web site you will read how to do it about 1/2 way down the page. Just keep clicking the icon. It is slow so wait until the open book stops flipping pages then go on to the next icon to delete. Don't forget to save you preferences. Took me a few times befor I realised I could do that.

Had to take my dad to Coffs Harbour for a bone marrow test yesterday and whilst I was waiting DS and I hit the shops. DS bought himself his first Surf Wallet. OMG we were there for half an hour whilst he decided which one he wanted. Then we headed to Prouds where I spent some of my Christmas Bonus ($300 Prouds voucher). I got myslef a lovely new white gold pendant to hang from the white gold chain I got with last years bonus.

For those with Kindles or the Kindle iPad app Amazon has two cook books that look ok for free at the moment, they are Smart School Time Recipes and Savory Pie Recipes. I've downloaded them while they are free but haven't had a look at them yet.

Thank you for the wonderful link Gretch - BUT another great procrastination tool is something I don't need now that the 2012 school year has begun!!!!!! Wish a mum could just put such temptations out of reach or perhaps I need to develop will power - no chance on this forum though!!!!  :D  :D

I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Maddy I have this book and it is fantastic. I've done the lychee jelly and the rhubarb and apple jelly. They take a little time but are well worth it. The lychee one didn't make as much as I thought it would. I'm hoping to do the peach and raspberry one after I buy some more raspberries this week.
As you can see I've also bought a couple of jelly moulds.
