the robot valcum cleaners are no good if you have dog hair  or long hair  that  you need to valcum up,  as the rollers keep getting clogged up  with the hair

I'm off to town this morning to buy my new cutlery set :)
And a hand held vacuum cleaner. My hand held dyson is giving me the s**ts as it stops and starts all the time, I had the motor and battery replaced a while ago because of this problem and now it's doing it again. So I'm buying a different brand :)

Dede, I had the same thing happen with mine.  Drove me nuts, and not what you'd expect from an expensive hand held.  I have the upright Dyson and  it's fantastic,  but the battery operated one was a dead loss.

I'm glad to hear that mine wasn't the only one to have the problem. It got to a point that I felt like throwing it. On for 10 sec, off, on for .5 of a second, off, on for maybe 1 second, off, on for 5 sec, off. Grrrr

I brought a Hoover wet and dry hand held vacuum today from Godfrey's. But I wish I didn't tell DS (5) that it was WET and dry. Now he wants to spill some water just to vacuum it up. I can just see him trying to vacuum out the bath when it's full :D :D

We  took ours back to the shop twice, only to be told there was nothing wrong with it  :-))

In the end we just gave up and relegated it to the garage to clean out the cars.

New balance shoes from the factory outlet...one of the best customer service from a great sales assistant I have had in some time. What a difference it makes to the purchase

Yes, it's great to get good service.
Yesterday I had the split system air conditioner installed in the rumpus room. It was supposed to be installed on Monday and the fellow rang me at 1.30pm to tell he was running late for an 11am appointment. Then rang to say he wouldn't be able to install until Wednesday. He turned up pretty much on time yesterday and did a good job.

P.S.
When he had to use the bathroom - "Do you mind if I take a leak? I'm busting.

At least you knew what he meant Michele - tradesmen are usually down to earth and call it as it is  ;)
