Me too Julie, I hate using anything that means I have to end up doing so much cleaning afterwards.  I clean down my weberQ each time but that is far easier to clean than the stovetop and splashback.

I have 2 grill pans too, to go on my gas stove.

I bought them at camping shops, much cheaper. :D

that's one impressive looking contraption JB  8)

Re: the griddle tray....just thinking back to when we bought our oven, I had the option to spend not much extra for a mid section grill  insert.  My thinking then was I wouldn't bother, as it would splatter all over the cook top.....um, der me.....you have to clean the whole surface anyway, even just using a frypan....live and learn  :P
I had bought an enameled chasseur grill pan previously...but what a P.I.T.A it was to clean....and everything seemed to stick to it!
Oh well, at least I know the S.D. cleans really easily.

was all snuggled up in my PJ's and enjoying a bowl of JD' tomato soup and homemade bread for tea, when there was a knock on the door. (It is wild outside) It was a neighbor who was having an Usana party and the demonstrater was coming from the edge of Perth to do it, but no one was coming because of the wild weather and so she was trying to rustle up neighbours etc to put bum on seats. I told her I prob wouldn't go cos I was cosy, and she understood, but when I came back to my soup my DS goes "well what else are you gonna do tonight?". So I shocked her when I turned up, but I was shocked as there were about 10 people there anyway. I wouldn't have gone if I had known there was going to be that many people  :-)) Anyway it was good stuff, and I walked away with a $300 dent in my credit card. I knew I shouldn't have changed out of my jarmies and gone there!
