Maddy please let me know how the fox lights go. We were going to stock them in the shop. The snake repellers we got in sold well.

Will do DG....several people we have spoke to recommend them highly.  The friend we borrowed this one from has one in an unroofed chook pen, and hasn't lost 1 chook yet.....not that I would personally have a pen without a roof  :-\, but they swear by it.
Snake repellers....what are they?  our snake repellers are the guinea fowl....they are butt ugly, make a huge racket, but they supposedly repel the snakes too....haven't seen one around yet.

Look at the colour of the cauliflower? It was next to the purple ones and so pretty together but I was thinking of the budget so bought only the orange.

And the can I will cook the duck on. I hope it is the right size for the Quakers bum.

I don't suppose anyone has ideas on how to repel possums??? We have possums who treat my herb garden as their dinner

There is a natural spray you can make up that apparently helps keep possums away, only problem is that it needs re spraying everytime it rains.
I can't think of the name of it sorry. :)

Here's a web site on information about repellents for possums, but nothing is guaranteed to work.

http://www.dse.vic.gov.au/plants-and-animals/possums-repellents

At our old place we lived in the bush and had lots of trouble with possums. So I built a veggie garden surrounded with roofing iron as possums have nothing to cling to to climb over and get in. I never had any problems with possums getting into my veggie garden then. And the veggies grew so well with the heat and sun reflecting off the iron. :)

We used to trap the possums and in the dead of night  take them in the car  across a creek and let them out. The only problem was we would meet people travelling in the opposite direction doing the same. LOL!
