Frozzie, a good friend of mine (who is a keen foodie) has just returned from a holiday to France.  She stocked up (and spent up!!)  on carbon steel knives - apparently they aren't available here at a reasonable price.

Maybe you could bring a container-load with you, and sell them for a fine profit when you get here  ;)

Any other suggestions of what to buy up on would be appreciated fellow shopers...😄😄

Thanks frozzie.... Better for our waists anyway not to have one!

And with DD really leaving home in sept, probably for good ( after coming and going on travels, courses and uni for the last 4.5 years) we will not need one and have managed without thus far!

Frozzie, I wonder whether TMX Australia will service your TMX if you have any issues here ! They're quite against providing any kind of support / service to overseas purchased ones but wonder what would happen in your case ? I've been following on the forum about your move back to Aus, all the very best for the move ! So we're getting another Queenslander yay ! Soon we may be able to arrange a QLD forum meet up lol !!

Bought an icecream machine with compressor 1.5 l with 3 extra bowls ... Yay

I'm sure you will love it.  I've had self-contained ice cream/gelatto makers for many years - so handy to always have it ready to roll.

Now, with the lovely tomatoes vine ripe - I have made several batches of tomato sorbet, also fresh cherry granita.

Yum andie 😊

I wanted the one with a compressor as didnt like the idea of th bowl in the freezer personally... Definately excited about all the possibilities.. I was waiting for summer to order it and summer never came but the move to oz changed that...will definately be useful 😊

Although I'm not supposed to be spending any money  :-\ I think this is a good deal allowing me to use my high heels more. Therefore it's an investment yes?  ;D

Speaking of shoes.

A friend sent me a link to some "spikey" shoes - for women who want to make an "impression" when they "kick up their heels."

Or make an impression on someone's backside when the person needs a bit of discipline!

There are quite a few pages of shoes and sandals that run from the fantastic to the ridiculous but there are some that are pretty and I saw a few pair of flats that I like - I can't wear heels.

Anyway, I thought some of you might get a chuckle out of it.
