I love my Vera Wang salad servers

I have that Catamount glass gravy separator - also good for separating liquids with a lot of foam on top - like for jellies, etc.,  I've had that one for years.

However a year or so ago I got this one with a top to catch large chunks of stuff and a center hole in the bottom that opens when the "trigger" handle is squeezed.  I've found I can get a lot more clear juices free of the murky stuff with this one.

Hally, I used mine for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
 .  Jury still out on it.
I cooked penne, to the maximum amount suggested, and it took way longer to cook than stated.   it was cooked after 30 minutes, which is the maximum recommendation for the container to be in the microwave.  my microwave is 1200w.
honestly, for the penne at least....It's quicker on the stove.

I'm still bleeding over a Mum that has lost a special edition container of mine....which was part of a set  . I'm never giving cupcakes away in Tupperware again!!!

Found a bargain today ........ we use Lauke Bakers Flour for our bread and pizzas.  It normally costs about $11 for a 5kg bag in Foodland.   I rang Lauke and asked if it was available in bulk anywhere, and our local bakery sells it in 25kg bags for $21.  Just doesnt advertise it - you have to ring and ask for it.  So much cheaper

No Hally, just a local independent baker.  I think it would be worth asking at any bakery if you could buy bulk bakers flour through them.  If you make your own bread and pizzas (as I know you do Hally!) you could go through 25kg in no time.

Hally no I didn't buy the pasta cooker yet, not sure now after hearing Maddy's comments. I also like the look of the untra pro casserole dishes - MADDY will you please have a look at them at the party and let me know what you think

It's called Ultra Pro they are different sized casserole dishes or for other things you can freeze, microwave or put them in the oven, they are not cheap so just wondering what they were like

Lovely purchases ladies.  I'm glad I'm broke at the moment and can't even consider buying anything so there is no temptation, but love looking in these thread for my wish list.

Maddy we have the same incubator and it has worked a treat for us.  We have a chook breeder up the road from us and they have about 20plus different breeds and they sell fertilised eggs.

I made by partner go through training before he was allowed to take any tupperware containers with work.  He had to prove to me that he could bring home cheap takeaway containers before he could take the real thing.
