So when you live in the Mulga like me, nowhere from any shops, ( I mean 1 hours drive from shops), you don't spend as much. :)

Then I have a little shop, which means work  5 days a week, then I cook, and cook some more, so I buy groceries on Sunday, and get ready for the next week.  ( and the kids)

We have markets once a month, which everyone comes too, so its packed for 5 hours..

thats way I love shopping online....

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Emerald Sue, we are at the showgrounds farmers markets most sunday mornings too!   We should meet up there for a coffee and one of Sonia's famous vanilla slices there one Sunday morning - when you are back and recovered from your WA odessy of course  ;D

Obbie, I dont know how I would cope if I couldnt get to the shops at least 3 times a week.  No matter how carefully I plan, I always seem to run out of something.  I really dont know how people who live in the remote outback cope.

Karen, that sounds like a plan. I go every week( when I'm in town) with a friend. We have a leisurely brekkie and meander to the market about 11ish. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later.

Just happened to end up at the shops after work - Bought nigellissima and Zumbarons. Can't wait to try the pancake and maple syrup ones. Also a patient I discharged gave me the October Womens Weekly. Looks like I have my long weekend reading sorted.

I should stay clear of this thread, it's normally quite dangerous.
