Thanks Astarra, I hadn't looked on eglobal before. I got very excited as the prices were definitely cheaper and they had some deals on the camera we are after but then realised it's a Hong Kong company. For this purchase I'm really looking to buy locally. Think I might need to try some bargaining.

I'm still waiting on my paperlite kindle wonder. Have you got yours yet?

I've been meaning to ask if you two had received your paperlite's, I'm interested in getting a new kindle.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

CP i haven't got mine yet. if you look on the Amazon website the expected shipment on them is now out to 21st December. I was speaking with the freight forwarders and she said I have the option of cancelling the order but I've also ordered other products which were being combined  so not sure what to do. I'm also going to be purchasing the mini ipad when the 3G version becomes available so thinking I could go back to reading on the mini ipad in low light and the kindle in normal light - just not sure what to do. A lot of my books are downloaded from other sources so the page synchronisation won't work between the two so that's also a factor. If we could at least get an expected delivery date it might make my decision easier but they don't seem to be able to get that. The other products are make up and I would really like to get it before I run out so will need to make a decision soon.

Get the mini instead. It would save having 2 devices for the one purpose. DD1 has the mini and I think it's fabulous.
The iPad is too heavy for me to read non fiction books, and the mini is about the same as a kindle.  I've bundled some things together for shipping so ill have to wait it out. The freight forwarders have been very quick to respond to emails etc however they haven't said what they told you. Instead they told me on Monday the next Kindle batch is arriving on the 20th... I took that as November but perhaps I should clarify with them.

My POK box also arrived today ES, it looked as big as yours but only had these 3 items in it LOL.  The 'home made' cookie stamp is a lot bigger than I expected (7 cm diameter), no wonder it was dearer than expected.

Did my food shopping this morning. Is it any wonder that I don't fit under Hally's $100. I'm a sucker for most cooking magazines. I usually resist Good Taste but didn't today.

Love all the goodies that you girls have purchased.  Was looking for the Chicago Metallica Cream Canoe Pans,  have walked town,  no good.  However DH bought me the. New Cuisinart Ice Cream Machine, for Xmas.  Yes I do have an Ice Cream Machine and it will go to DS .  This has a compressor,  but the difference is that once the ice cream is churned,  the bowl can be lifted out and put in the freezer.  I can't lift the bowl out of my old one.  I can also get a second bowl.
This isn't normal,  but the lady demonstrating,  will do this as a favour.  Last night Myers had a promotion of 20% off.  I was given this also.  So machine,  with free small blender , thrown in, for $400.
Tomorrow, we are going to buy 2 iPhone 5.  Think We had better rush home after this.
I returned the Pie maker as it had stopped working.  I had been told that I had to wait for 3 weeks for a replacement.  But DJ just handed over a new one.  All in all a very good day.
