Karen, nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel after all this time.  You have been very patient waiting for it all to come together.  Lovely fridge, never heard of them.  Is the LH side all freezer or some more fridge and 1 section freezer?

I had never heard of them either.  They are made in Germany in the same factory as Miele fridges.  Apparently Meile fridges are re-badged Liebherr fridges at a much elevated price.  The right hand side is all normal fridge.  The top part of the left side is the biofresh compartment (so it is quite large with several shelves and a crisper - not just the usual F&V crisper in the bottom) and the bottom left hand side is the freezer.

I just cant wait for it all to be finished now ....... once I have a real oven I can really get into bread making!  I have to consciously avoid all the bread recipes on the forum at the moment, but once I have that oven there will be no stopping me  ;D ;D

When it is all finished, I will have to have a little Adelaide Forum get-together at our place.  At least it will be close for Amanda - not so close for you though  :(

Karen, I've heard of that brand and it has an excellent reputation.
I had a girlfriend who redesigned a kitchen  around a fridge see had seen and decided she must have!
Looks very smart, I must say. Looking forward to meeting it!

.....he will look Super Duper dapper Judy!!!
I think the last time I saw him in a suit was at his Mother's funeral - 10 years ago!........he will be completely out of his comfort zone, and just quietly.......I think his "Man of the Land" hands will be a dead give-away, that he's not quite as "executive" as those he will be mingling with  :P

Grand Final day is the best day to go shopping in Melbourne because everyone is at home watching the game.  We live quite close to the MCG so hear the roar of the crowd - and that's about our entire involvement with the game.  Last year the local business association handed out black and white balloons, posters, etc. so that we could decorate our shop fronts, but that hasn't happened this year so the street looks pretty normal.

It is impossible not to be swept away by the atmosphere in Melbourne throughout the week leading up to grand final - we had a sabbatical year in Melbourne and so enjoyed the whole experience. So Melbournians have a great day today!!!!!  :D

I've been over to 3 grand finals in my lifetime and it is certainly an experience to remember.  2 successes (1 a Crows match and the other a Power final, my main team)  plus 1 dismal failure to your team 4 years ago maddy. DH came to that one, pity about the result but at least he is the only person in his family who can say they've been to the MCG and experienced the magnificent spectacle of an AFL grand final. His wheelchair spot was the best seat in the house.
