Hi Marie.. Hope you don't have too long to wait... Was beginning to wonder about mine as it was beyond the time frame of arrival they suggested. I was just about to make an enquiry when it was popped into the letterbox :)

That book looks lovely.

I made two purchases today which I'd like to share. The first is a pack of reusable food pouches (6 x 100ml and 6 x 200ml) for yogurt etc and the second is a bottle of REAL milk! It comes in a glass bottle and even has cream settling on the top!!!!! 😊

The milk is beautiful too. The company use very little processing and as a result they only sell to shops and cafes within an hour and a half of their farm. I'm lucky enough to have our local butcher as one of their suppliers. This is my special 'drinking' milk for me and the little ones!

What a fantastic find. Real bottles of milk.

Childhood memories for me too CC as  my brother and I used to fight over who would get the cream at the top of the bottle in our
cornflakes  :)

Brumington, Are you in Brisbane then ? We are buying that milk and we loovvveeee it !!! We follow his fb page as well.  The looks on the faces of my kids was priceless when they saw the cream on top.  We've been getting the orange top 2 l, not in glass unfortunately but it works out a bit cheaper than the 1l. It always has  a long expiry and the longer it's in the fridge, the more cream.  The farmer started this I think as a kick in the teeth to Woolies and Coles because he wasn't prepared to accept the low price they were going to pay him to send his milk to a milk processing plant.  Have you watched the video on his website of the automated robotic milking ? The cows decide when they want to milk lol.  My kids loved watching the video and they want to go and do the farm tour, which I think would be great.

Great purchases Brumington and the milk sounds lovely, does he recycle the milk bottles? The pouches look interesting, what do you intend using them for?

I just realised where I've seen that name before.  Big Gun Butchers at Slacks Creek/Kuraby were advertising it on their illuminated sign as I drove home from work last night.  I'll have to call in and have a look.  Luckily I wanted to stop in to the vegetable shop and pick up a couple of things anyway :). I wonder whether it would make nice mozzarella cheese?

Stacelee,
Big Gun have it and also IGA Rochedale have it too. So you're very local to me ...... I'm at Eight Mile Plains.
