Bev and I went to the market in Truro this morning. We were looking for a jack crab but the fishmonger only had hens.I did buy these though as I walked passed the bakery stall.Cornish Stoneground Wholemeal flour. ;D We did eventually get a jack crab in Falmouth this afternoon. :D I also bought some Beeswax candles and some Cornish Honey. :-))

Jack Brown Crab

My DB cleaned the crab into white and brown meat.

That's interesting Denise,  I recently saw a recipe for crab and it mentioned white and brown meat but our blue swimmer crabs only have white meat so I didn't know what they meant.  I've never seen inside those huge crabs so now I know.

I have had to upgrade tapatalk as it won't let me post photos anymore. I hope I can work the upgraded version.

Oh gee Bedlam, I have both of Yoke's books and could have brought them down to Hobart for you if I had known you wanted them.  I am looking for someone to take them. I have been cleaning out my bookcase to make more room  ;D ;D

I have both her books too and also her ebook. She has different methods to Chookie. I use her recipe and my method. I have been to lots of her classes.  She now does thermomix classes too. I haven't attended any of these.
