THE SHOPPING THREAD :-)

The parcel post man has just been. Thank you so very much Ral and Chookie. One of you is very, very good at sealing the ends of tubes.
I hope to make excellent use of the patty pans on Sunday.

Glad it arrived Cookie. Ral did the cutting and sealing.  He has been using the football bandaids that you sent him.  ;D

The other day I brought a pillow from Snooze , they were posting it as there were none in the shop , it’s a memory pillow, I thought would help my neck sleeping . I rang today to say were is it ... oh it will be coming soon it takes three weeks from DENMARK !! Oh .

I hope it helps KAtie. I have trouble with my elderly neck (arthritis) and my doctor suggested a bamboo pillow that was a memory pillow. I couldn’t get used to it, so now I use a very flat one and slide it out of the bed most nights and sleep without.

Your service from Snooze certainly wasn’t the best.

Marina, that is more than exciting.  I still feel over the moon when I think about all the new drawers we had put into our kitchen. Let us know how it looks.
Yesterday we went out for our French breakfast then I drove to Talbot.  A small town with a Farmers Market.  We bought 3 Wallflower plants and 2 Euphorbias. Also2 parsnips for $4. Ridiculous.

The whole lot for $4 Chookie or just the parsnips?
How exciting for you Marina, the kitchen is the best room in the house as far as I’m concerned.

There is no room in the house more exciting than the kitchen. Wonderful Marina.

I've just been up to have a sneak peak at the kitchen and it is looking really good - WHOOPEEEE!!  I am so excited.  Loads of drawers and enough bench space to work with.  The bench top is not in yet, nor the cook top, dish washer, etc.,, but they will probably leave them until nearer completion time.

I hope they didn't have stringy centres Chookie. I love parsnip mash and baked parsnip, but all those I buy have yuck centres.

These Parsnips are large so may have woody centres. Will just cut around edges. Even though they were expensive that will do several meals.
