To be honest, I hadn't thought of the lemon powder, but will keep that in mind.  I think we're getting too far in to the broad bean season now for the young ones to remain on the market much longer so I may not make this again until next year, but will let you know how it turns out if I try the powder.

As it's broad bean season again I thought I would bump this wonderful recipe.  There are still a couple of weeks left of the delicious young broad beans in the markets so that means you don't have to peel them after you take them out of the pod.  You will need approx. 1 kg of beans in their pods for the the correct quantity for this sauce.  Try it ... you won't regret it!

Sinem, if you are following this, I cut the lemon peel more coarsely this time and it worked much better.

I love broad beans Marina, looked at them at the market yesterday but didn't buy any.  Had I seen this posting beforehand though, I most definitely would have  >:( :)
