Same here Frozzie. My DH still can't work the computer out. I'm in total control of all banking and bill paying as he has no idea. I think my DS who is nearly 5 knows more about the computer than he does.

So I''m not the only one with a DH who isn't into computers, etc.  I do all the money for us and he just leaves it to me - he refuses even a Visa card - says he would only lose it!

So funny.  I have no idea in our house at all.  I go off to work and come home.  When I want to buy something, magically money just seems to be available.  Every month Ed tells me that we have to be careful and I am.  Having lived in Germany now for almost two years, new International staff ask me about online banking and so on.  I look at them red faced and have to tell them that I honestly have no idea. I have never done online banking in Germany.  But I do have an Ed!!!  He is our families treasurer.  He likes to think he is the President too, hmmmmmmm!!!

I guess we cant have both people in a couple doing the same thing, best to have one person in charge of somethings and another in charge of other things otherwise it would become a bit confusing. The only problem with this is if we are forced to do something we don't usually do for some reason or another we become stressed and frazzled very quickly.

Once upon a time DH used to use the 'all you have to do is ask and I will do it (eg. - get washing form line, unpack dishwasher etc, etc.........)' comment until my retort became if I wanted to be around children forever I would have kept having babies.  Mind you  that statement has also bee delivered through gritted teeth oops I meant lovingly to our 3 DDs on more than one occasion.
Now here is something to ponder!!!!!!!

Now what was the topic of this thread again!!!!!!!! Guess who is now on hols for 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that in my relationship, I'm the geeky one... the one who likes gadgets and will only do certain things if I have a suitable appliance to do it.  :P
My children have followed that and my 4 year old knows that it is possible to change my old Windows smart phone into an Android operating system and wants me to do so... now.  :D
I can budget to within an inch of my life... and am often asked how I turn a low income into everything we need.  Tenacity I say. ;)
That said, my other half is also gifted.  Will use any gadget I suggest is needed and doesn't question my quirks.  Somehow we've ended up with 2 Thermomixes AND 3 bowl and blades sets between them.  :-))   Wouldn't part with ANY of them though! ;)

Ladies PLEASE ensure that they can at least do the banking and bill paying, etc. My Dad has NEVER EVER done any of that and now with Mum not having long to go, tomorrow I have been nominated to spend the day with them both teaching Dad what he needs to know and sorting a whole heap of things out for Mum. Even if you still do it, just make sure they know how and what to do should they need to.  ;)
