I thought it did but thought I would double check. Will be good to have 2 seals as mine can become a bit smelly depending what I make, I will keep one for savory and one for sweet (Wonder how long that will last?)
I have read lots of posts on that but I don't seem to have that problem. I make lots of curries, dishes containing chillis and other fragrants but it has never been a problem for me. Just lucky I guess.
