THERMIE IS FIXED!!!!
Apparently I had a faulty bowl.  They sent me up a new one Tuesday night and it arrived this morning.
I'm so glad I didn't have to send it away and wait for ages.  Starting tomorrow I will return to that lovely life I had a sneak peek at.
Thanks to everyone who voiced their support :)

That is great. so glad you are all set to cook up a storm again. It is very comforting knowing that the service is so quick when there is a problem.
