If anyone is looking for something along these lines there is (or was) a stall at the St Kilda, Melbourne markets on a Sunday that does personalised crockery - not sure that it is as refined as CC's one for Judy, but it is a possibility for those living in Melbourne.  As I recall it is a blue pattern on white background - possibly based on a Dresden or Dutch traditional design.

my mums and sons birthday are the 27th so a busy month by all it seems .......
